Our Story
Built by someone who saw what comes after the call.
Marcus Culbreath spent 11 years as a fire safety inspector. Eleven years walking into homes after the worst had already happened. Eleven years filing reports on incidents that a $30 sensor could have prevented.
The CO calls were the hardest. A family doesn't smell it. They don't hear it. They just don't wake up. Marcus responded to too many of those mornings. The water calls came next. Burst pipes during a vacation, a slow leak that ate through a subfloor for months before anyone noticed. Both threats had something in common: they were silent, they were predictable, and they were preventable.
Marcus and his wife started GuardHaven together after years of seeing preventable tragedies go unaddressed.
We started GuardHaven because the detectors on the market were either over-engineered for installers or under-engineered for the families who actually needed them. The bundle exists because no one should have to choose which silent threat to protect against.
